Pelico Included in Multiple Gartner® Supply Chain Research Publications in 2026

(Originally published July 2026, consolidated and updated August 2026)

Gartner has named Pelico in three research publications so far in 2026, each looking at supply chain orchestration from a different angle: strategy, market landscape, and multienterprise collaboration.

In Hype Cycle™ for Supply Chain Strategy, 2026 (Caleb Thomson, June 2026), Pelico is named a Sample Vendor. In Market Overview for Supply Chain Orchestration Platforms (Balaji Abbabatulla, Christian Titze, 16 July 2026), Pelico is named a Representative Vendor. In Hype Cycle™ for Multienterprise Solutions, 2026 (Christian Titze, Balaji Abbabatulla, Brock Johns, 27 July 2026), Pelico is named a Sample Vendor in the Supply Chain Orchestration profile, which carries a Benefit Rating of Transformational.

Together, we believe these inclusions reflect the growing industry focus on supply chain orchestration and manufacturing execution.

A category gaining definition

In the Market Overview, Gartner presents its view of Supply Chain Orchestration Platforms. Gartner defines the category as platforms that:

... enable CSCOs to connect and govern process clusters across the end-to-end supply chain, continuously adapt operations to external events, align operational decisions with strategic objectives, and collaborate with adjacent business functions.

In our view, orchestration connects operational execution with broader business objectives, enabling better visibility, coordination, and decision-making across supply chain functions.

Pelico is included as one of the representative vendors within this market, which Gartner describes as:

This diverse provider landscape reflects an emerging market that is rapidly growing to fill a gap in the SCM software market.

The Hype Cycle™ for Multienterprise Solutions addresses supply chain strategy leaders building network collaboration and AI transformation across multipartner ecosystems. Within it, the report states:

Supply chain orchestration is the strategy of fulfilling enterprise business outcomes by executing optimized operational decisions across the end-to-end supply chain.

The profile carries a Benefit Rating of Transformational.

This is the same fundamental shift we see with manufacturers every day: operational decisions and execution need to connect directly to business outcomes such as reliable delivery and growth, and orchestration is the layer that makes that connection.

What this means for manufacturers

Manufacturers today face increasing complexity across production, supply, engineering, quality, and maintenance. At Pelico, our mission has always been to help manufacturing organizations understand what is truly ready to execute, identify operational bottlenecks, coordinate decisions across teams, and improve manufacturing flow.

We believe the growing focus on orchestration reflects an important evolution in how manufacturers approach operational excellence.

Expanding across the operational areas that matter most

Manufacturing execution is not a single problem, and Pelico has grown to serve the operational areas where execution gaps hit hardest:

  • Material coverage and clear-to-build readiness
  • Original equipment manufacturing
  • Maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO)
  • Inventory optimization
  • Program management
  • Services, spares, and aftermarket
  • Quality for execution

These areas increasingly run together through agentic orchestration, where domain-specific AI agents surface what is at risk, propose the next best action, and coordinate the teams who need to act, while people stay in control of the decision.

This breadth lets an organization start where the pain is sharpest and expand into adjacent areas on the same operational backbone, rather than adding another disconnected tool.

Built to scale across enterprise networks

What sets Pelico apart, in our view, is that the platform is manufacturing-native. It builds a live model of how a complex manufacturing operation actually fits together, and projects how operational events affect delivery commitments while there is still time to act. Because that domain model comes built in rather than being constructed project by project, deployments start from packaged manufacturing content instead of a blank page. That is what makes fast time to value possible: manufacturers begin resolving real execution decisions in weeks, without waiting for a long transformation program.

Complex manufacturers do not run a single plant or a single system, and neither does Pelico. The platform is built for multi-plant, multi-ERP environments, mapping dependencies across multi-level bills of material, work orders, capacity, sites, programs, and the supplier network in one connected model. When a part slips at one site, the impact is visible across the whole network, so a commitment made in one plant is not quietly undone in another.

Serving enterprise customers means fitting the environment they already run. Pelico connects to existing ERP, MES, planning, quality, logistics, and supplier systems through native integrations and open APIs, with no rip-and-replace. It operates with enterprise-grade security and governance, independently audited and certified, deploys on the major clouds, and reaches live operation on initial use cases in approximately twelve weeks rather than over multi-year programs. As customers extend Pelico from a first site to an enterprise standard, the same dependency model scales across every plant, program, and supplier in the network.

Continuing industry engagement

Throughout 2026, Pelico has continued to engage with industry analysts, customers, and manufacturing leaders to discuss the evolution of manufacturing operations, supply chain orchestration, and AI-enabled decision support. We appreciate the opportunity to contribute our perspective as this market continues to evolve. We remain focused on helping manufacturers improve operational resilience, accelerate execution, and enable better decisions across the factory and supplier network.

For more on the thinking behind the first of these inclusions, see When the Plan Breaks, Someone Still Has to Decide.

We'll keep this page updated as new research comes in. What doesn't change is the work underneath it: helping manufacturers close the gap between the plan and what actually happens on the floor.
