Spare Parts Distribution and Component Repair

A spares order can look covered while the part behind it sits in a repair shop with no return date. Pelico catches it while there's still time to recover.

One of the main outcomes of Pelico after 3 months is a drastic improvement of the data accuracy in our ERP.

VP Customer Support & Services, Safran Transmission Systems

In our MRO shop, Pelico helped us go from 2,000 outstanding work orders to 1,600 work orders through better anticipation of bottlenecks and WIP management.

Supply Chain Manager

Global aerospace systems and components provider

We've seen upwards of 90% reduction in data hunting and data searching. Previously, our users needed to go to about a dozen or maybe even 16 different spreadsheets and tabs of data to make a decision with a supplier, and now that's two clicks in Pelico.

Senior Manager, Spares & Supply Chain

Global aerospace spare parts operation

Thanks to Pelico, we reduced our parts shortages by 72% in 4 months.

Why customer dates slip when nothing looks late

The promise date was never real

Are your commit dates based on what you can actually deliver this week?

Buyers chase the loudest PO, not the costliest one

Do your buyers know which late PO holds up the most customer dates?

Parts go to the oldest repair first

When parts come in, do you know which blocked repair is closest to missing its TAT?

CAPABILITIES

What Pelico gives spares and repair teams

The Spares and Component Repair solution runs on Pelico's Manufacturing Orchestration Platform. It ties every spares order and component repair, landing gear included, to the POs and repair gates it depends on, from the date you quote to the unit back on the shelf.

Made for: Customer Support Managers · Spares Buyers · Procurement Managers · Repair Planners · Repair Shop Managers · Aftermarket BU Leads

Commit dates you can stand behind

Build each commit date on live coverage and parallel work order demand, with the breakdown behind it and an SLA on every quote.

PO priority by customer impact

Each PO is tied to the customer orders waiting on it, with a flag on suppliers who are starting to slip. Buyers follow up on the POs holding up a customer date before they turn into expedites. When a supplier moves a date, they know whether it helps or hurts.

Repair priority by TAT and revenue

Score every open service order on contractual TAT, customer priority, and revenue, so planners send parts to the repair that protects the most, not the oldest job.

The blocker on every repair, gate by gate

Track every unit through inspection, quote, repair, test, and release, with the blocker named at each gate. Quote holds sit in the same list as the rest of the WIP, ranked by value.

Customer impact analysis

Trace a late part to every customer order it touches, simulate the recovery options, and run the re-commit from the customer impact room.

AI built into the backlog

Pelico's AI agents trace each late PO to the customer dates it holds up, flag the repair closest to missing its TAT, and help chase the suppliers behind it.

FAQ

When an AOG comes in, check everything that could cover it: stock on hand, inbound POs, repair returns, and transfers between sites. Then rank the gaps by SLA and customer impact. Pelico runs that check every day on top of your ERP, so the AOG desk already knows where coverage is thin before the next request lands, and which recovery option to try first.

Most ERP and MRO systems allocate first in, first out, and they have no way to weigh a contractual TAT or an AOG against job age. Fixing it means scoring every open service order on TAT, customer priority, and revenue, then moving parts where they protect the most commitments. Pelico runs that scoring on top of your ERP, and planners approve each reallocation.

Put the holds in the same list as the rest of the WIP, with the age and value of each, so customer support chases the ones blocking the most revenue first. Pelico tracks every unit waiting on quote approval and ties it to its TAT and customer, so holds stop hiding in email threads.

An open order report gives every line the same weight, so the team has to work out which ones are at risk. An orchestration platform reads the same SAP data, links each order to the stock, POs, and repairs that cover it, and ranks the exceptions. Pelico sits on top of SAP and lands decisions back in it, so teams keep working in the system they know.

Chat assistants answer questions about an order, scripted automation repeats fixed steps, and AI agents take on judgment work, like ranking which open POs to chase first, explaining why, and drafting the supplier follow-up. Agents only rank well on live order, stock, and repair data, and a person should approve each action before it goes out. Pelico's AI agents work on that live data, on top of your ERP.

Most of the turnaround time on a landing gear or APU repair goes to waiting: on teardown findings, a customer quote, a missing part, or a sub-tier repair. Shops that hold their TAT track every unit through its gates (inspection, quote, repair, test, release) and see what's blocking each one before it slips. Pelico gives component shops that view across every open service order, on live ERP data.
